JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Full Time Trainee / Qualified Dental Nurse
- Up to £13.00 an hour depending on experience
- 3 surgery mixed NHS and private practice
- 5 days a week: Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday 08:45-17:30 Wednesday 8:45-18:30
- Fully Qualified and GDC registered or interested in starting a career in the dental industry

KEY DUTIES
- Prepare and maintain the clinical environment including the equipment
- Carry out infection prevention and control procedures to prevent physical chemical and microbiological contamination in the surgery
- Keep full accurate and contemporaneous patient records and ensure that they are stored securely
- Prepare equipment materials and patients for dental radiography
- Check that all necessary laboratory work is returned and ready for each session
- Complete laboratory request forms and keep records of all items sent received and fitted
- Complete tasks in the decontamination room in line with HTM01-05 CQC and infection control procedures
- Perform the following additional procedures following appropriate training:
- Oral health education and oral health promotion
- Taking clinical photographs and digital iTero scanning

Trainees:
You will be enrolled on a training pathway with a regulated body and work with a strong friendly and supportive team who will help and guide you through the training. We will fund your Dental Nursing Diploma and GDC registration fees. No experience is required.
